I started blogging years ago before it was a thing ... I used blogging as a way to express myself through out my day - I talked about school experiences, I shared secrets, I exposed secrets and even made a few confessions through my blog - now to be fair, blogging in the 90's or early 2000's was different, you didn't tell people you were doing this, you didn't have social media so to speak to push your work or even engage with your readers- back in the day we just expressed ourselves, what ever that meant.
In todays world, bloggers are their own industry, they are their own royalty if you will and I've tried living up to that expectation, I've even stopped writing because of it, but I've learned a huge lesson from those that actually read my blog ... The work is imperative, no matter how many readers I have, whats important are the lives I touch.
So yes I've failed at being a blogger, but I've succeeded at increasing, at least one life. And that is all the win I need!
